Guide to Clearing

You can apply for university through Clearing if you haven’t made the grades required for the offers you have received, if you haven’t had any offers at all or if you applied after the end of June.

Courses which have gone into clearing will be released in the national press, on the UCAS website and the university websites on results day.  If you are eligible for Clearing, UCAS will automatically send you a Clearing Entry Form and an information pack.

Once you have found a course that you are interested in, you’ll need to contact the institution and speak to the admissions tutor for that course.

If you can’t find a specific course in your chosen subject area, be prepared to be flexible.
